Investigation of the Bioremediation Performance of Cow-dung and Wire-croton on Crude Oil Polluted Soil

Crude oil exploration is associated with spillage causing environmental degradation including loss of soil fertility and biodiversity. Various technologies are available for remediating crude polluted soil, but, bioremediation seems to be more environmentally friendly cost effective. Thus, the current work on using cow dung wire croton leave as amendments. It was conducted a batch process monitored 42 days (six weeks). Separate croton, different quantities were blended remediate soil. The analysis included Total Petroleum Hydrocarbon (TPH), utilizing Bacterial (HUB) Organic Carbon (TOC) content result shows that have potential used nutrients. When these nutrients mixed at proportions, combination involving 30 g gave least performance in terms HUB, TPH TOC across duration study, maximum achieved 200 shown by over 650 thousand HUB increment, 95 % hydrocarbon degradation, 76.3 total organic carbon obtained.
